Located inside Frogner park, Vigelandsparken is a sculpture park with a permanent collection of over 200 sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland between 1924 and 1943. One of Norway’s top attractions, with more than a million annual visitors, it is open 24-hours a day and is free to enter.

Vestkantbadet

One of Oslo’s oldest public baths, dating from 1932, Vestkantbadet has now been restored and has re-emerged as a new wellness space, comprising the original swimming pool, cold pool and saunas plus a gym and 18 treatment rooms. Vestkantbadet is part of Sommerro, Oslo’s newest hotel, housed inside the former headquarters of Oslo Lysverker - the city’s electrical company - and also includes a clutch of buzzing restaurants and bars, including a rooftop restaurant with a pool, open year-round.

The National Library

Housed in a grand building from 1914, with two permanent and two temporary exhibitions, as well as a museum shop and café, the National Library collects and preserves everything published in the Norwegian public such as scripts, books, films, music, TV, radio clips and posters. There is also a regular roster of exhibitions, concerts, lectures, readings, and guided tours.
