On the idyllic Malmøya in Oslo lies Villa Nikkesmelle, an architectural gem that harmonizes with nature. With three towers and bridges connecting them, modernity and tradition blend seamlessly. The house, designed by Gartnerfuglen, is built to preserve the lush forest and is constructed among the trees as if it grew from the ground. Glass corridors give residents the feeling of wandering in the forest while inside the house.

Villa Nikkesmelle is sustainable, made of log pine, and features large glass walls that bring nature indoors. The open floor plan invites exploration, and the house feels like a living organism, an experience in itself.
