Recently opened to much fanfare, Sommerro, Oslo’s newest hotel has fast become a social hub for both visitors and the local Frogner community with its collection of buzzing ground floor eateries, and rooftop restaurant and bar. Our apartments, both located on the 4th floor - one with a private garden and the other with a private balcony - are part of Sommerro’s much -anticipated residential section. Alongside their sleek and contemporary design, the apartments also benefit from the hotel’s facilities, which includes the now restored original public baths - now a sprawling wellness centre - that date from the 1930s. Frogner Park, alongside the neighbourhoods cafés, restaurants and boutiques are just outside, while the city centre and beyond that, the revitalised Bjørvika neighbourhood are a short tram ride away.
