Brasserie Rivoli

A modern neighbourhood bistro, Brasserie Rivoli is owned and run by chef Kari Innerå, who serves a menu of classic French dishes alongside fresh shellfish and grilled dried fish, based on one of Norway’s oldest food traditions. Using sustainable, locally sourced ingredients from small-scale producers, expect favourites like beef tartare, bouillabaisse, and moules frites. To start, we recommend a sunset glass of wine at the bar next door, where you can also enjoy views of the Opera House and the Munch museum.

Vin Bjørvika

This is a hidden gem in plain sight. It is located right next to the Opera House and the new Munch Museum, with fjord views, urban city life and evening sun on the terrace. They serve over 100 wines by the glass, thousands of wines by the bottle and simple dishes such as cheese and ham, pate and lobster soup adapted to the wines. This is one of our favorite places just to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the urban city life unfold outside.
